TORONTO – BioConnect today announces the launch of its Wellness Declaration solution as part of the company’s BioConnect Link platform for building access control. The solution is designed to help companies mitigate the spread of the second wave of COVID-19. All employees seeking to enter a building receive a ‘health status step up’ mobile authentication request to confirm their current health. At home or arriving at the office, employees will declare any current health symptoms, recent positive COVID-19 test, flagged as part of contact tracing and or in self–quarantine. The new solution will offer the ability to monitor, grant or deny entrance access of individuals who may pose a potential risk to the health and safety of other employees.
This solution delivers on BioConnect’s Brand Promise of “Enterprise Security, Personal Privacy & Safety, Delivered Simply and Reliably” by ensuring NO health-related personal data is being transmitted as the details are locally stored on the user’s phone.
BioConnect’s Chairman and CEO Rob Douglas commented, “We are committed to helping our current and future customers keep their employees and facilities safe & secure, by adding a wellness declaration to BioConnect Link’s mobile application as part of a dynamic rules–based access platform to facilitate the opening of their facilities as safely as possible. As part of our BioConnect Cares Initiative, our new wellness declaration solution will be included at no additional charge for any organization using BioConnect Link.”
The Wellness Declaration solution will be highlighted during today’s webinar with Dan Mathieson- Mayor of Stratford Ontario, Chris Rickett – Director, COVID-19 Business Mitigation and Recovery at City of Toronto, Randal Froebelius – Real Estate Lead at MaRS Discovery District and Courtney Gibson – CTO & CISO at BioConnect.
